Burnley has announced a change of seating for some of its fans going to the Championship match away at Lincoln City. The move, prompted by a safety assessment, means those initially given places in the North East GRS Signs Stand will now be in the Stacey West Stand.

Lincoln City stated the adjustment was made on the advice of its safety officials. The home club confirmed that visiting supporters must be moved to the Stacey West Stand. As a result, the GRS Signs Stand will host home supporters, while all traveling Burnley fans will be together in the covered safe standing section of the Stacey West Stand.

New digital tickets will be emailed to impacted supporters on Wednesday. The old tickets will not work for entry. Fans cannot select their exact new seat, which will be in certain blocks of the Stacey West Stand.

The club recognized the disruption and stated it is coordinating with Lincoln City to ensure a simple process. This change also makes an additional batch of tickets available for Burnley fans, to be sold at a later time. Fans who already had tickets for the Stacey West Stand are not affected.

The game at Sincil Bank marks Burnley's first trip to face Lincoln City in many years. It occurs as the team has found the early part of the Championship season difficult.

The match comes after a home fixture against Watford. The seating plan for the away day will continue to be monitored as part of the host club's regular stadium management. All fans impacted should look for their new ticket via email from Wednesday.
